Today’s Scripture Reading: TBA

Today’s Message: Exodus 36-40 "Stirred Hearts and Willing Spirits"

Tonight: We continue in Psalms

Thursday Night: We continue in Mark

Tithes and Offerings:  We do not pass an offering plate during our services, but encourage all who attend regularly “whose hearts are stirred and everyone whose spirit is willing” to place your offerings in the dark walnut box on the back table. (Exodus 35:21; Malachi 3:10)

Pleasant Meadows Outreach: Please join us as we minister today at 12:30 p.m. at Pleasant Meadows Assisted Living.

Prayer Meeting: All are welcome to join us for open prayer at Morton on Wednesday, August 25, at 6 p.m.

The Piscataquis Fair is Thursday, August 26 - Sunday, August 29.  The Abbot Evangelical Free Church is doing a booth at the fair and would appreciate help from anyone who would be willing to share the gospel with fair attendees. If you have never shared your faith before or are hesitant, it is a great opportunity to stretch yourself a bit.  Just a smile, pleasant word and handing a tract to a passerby can make a difference in a person’s life.  Please let Michelle or Vicki know if you are interested.

Youth Group: Begins again on Friday, August 27, at 6 p.m. at Morton, for 7th to 12th graders, and will continue every Friday at 6 p.m. thereafter.

Men: Next Saturday, August 28, is the Men's Conference in Orrington. If you would like to ride with Pastor Dave, please meet here at the church by 6:20 a.m. We will be leaving at 6:30 a.m. with or without you. Hint: Be punctual if you want a ride.

Free Movie: On Friday, September 10, and Saturday, September 11, at 7 p.m., Center Theatre will be showing To Save a Life.  “Everyone has problems; not everyone has faith.”  For more information on this movie, you can go to its website, tosavealifemovie.com.

Ladies’ Bible Study: Will start on Tuesday, September 14, at noon, and will continue the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month.  Betty Ann Homchuck will be leading the ladies through the book of 2 Peter.  Study guides are available on-line under the Women’s Ministry page at the Harvest Christian Fellowship web site, and will be made available on the resource table as well.  Please join us!
